  The best thing about this hotel is the staff and the service. They are wonderful throughout; from breakfast to reception to night staff - they cant do enough for you. This makes the stay here satisfying and makes you forget the downsides which means they are doing an amazing job and have been trained so well! Unfortunately, the food lets the hotel down. It is supposed to be 5*, but the food is not. At breakfast, the quality of the meat is not good. I have eaten iberian ham many times and this was not great. The only good quality thing was the cava which was exceptional. We also ate tapas at the bar / restaurant which was very disappointing. Another big problem with this hotel is the room...it is big and separated into sections which is fantastic, but the trouser press doesn't work, the shower leaks into the toilet ( and we almost slipped 3 times), the water in the shower is not very hot and the duvet cover has slits in which means the actual duvet pops out when you sleep which is very uncomfortable. Also, the room is dark and the terrace is a bit pointless as one cannot stand on it as it is so small. Also, the pool on the top floor is very dark and the jacuzzi/whirlpool weak and does not really do anything therefore it is not relaxing...and also not warm! Overall, good hotel but very overpriced due to all these small faults that add up. If it were £100 cheaper then i would have given it 5* probably! You don't expect any problems when you are paying this much.

  Service was excellent. Room spacious and bed was perfect to sleep well. We did stayed only one night, but will come back again. Terrace area is nice for relaxing and enjoying some drinks. We also had barbecue at rooftop terrace. Good food, but bring the salchicha back to the menu as last summer...;)

  It looks nicer than it actually is; I arrived, getting ready for bed. As I unfold the blanked, there were black hairs everywhere, cum stains and other dirty brown spots. Clearly the room was not cleaned at all! I travel a lot and this has been the dirtiest beds of them all.

  Went to the desk showed the pictures of the bed and they send room service up, the girl came and handed me over some clean sheets... shouldn’t be my job as a guest who just arrived, their job.

  Very nice hotel in the middle of the old city. Very helpful staff, good breakfast, and it’s always nice to use the small swimming pool, the sun deck or the gym.

  Only recommendation for the hotel: cut off the perfume machine on the ground floor :)

  The staff at this hotel are outstanding, so helpful, friendly and courteous, they couldn't do enough for you. They were so quick to respond to any request. The hotel has a lovely aroma throughout, wonderful.
