  Goldcar is a total fraud, we booked online and got charged additional 35eur of non-refundable, non-mentioned fee for a 10eur/day rental (so-called refill service, paid even if you return wih a full tank). Extremely rude staff. Note: The only mentioned additional fee was 8-10%... The rental is still cheap, but expect any possible problems and additional payments.

  First, am 25 and i have a license for more than 2 year. But the staff at the counter said i need to pay young driver surcharge while the website said only for people under 25. It costed 40 euso more. Secondly, I didn't not get my full refund back. she did not ask me to charge in Euro and automatically charged in pounds which applied a bad conversion rate, and i wasn''t aware until i got my deposit back. They conned me 60 euros just for this! Also there is a desiel charge which i didn''t know and ask for.

  Twice this year we have rented from company and twice been coned out of hard earned money. The second time it took over 2 months to get the petrol money back. And some 360 Euros of insurance. We did not need l am a pensioner. And if they will do it to me they will do it to anybody.

  I dropped off the car before 7 o'clock. I had no extra insurance so I am always extremely careful with the car. I had no incidents and have not been charged before since I always have them check the car when I drop it off. But since it was so early there were no-one there so I decided to take a chance. BIG MISTAKE. One week later I was notified that they had charged me €450 for scratches to the car. They included some pictures but there was no mention of the size which I find very strange since they are so insistent on not recording any previous damage according to their charts. It was impossible to tell the size according to the pictures. IF you use these guys then make sure you get a signed copy of the contract that indicates that you had no damage when you returned the car!!

  Terrible Terrible service. Your car breaks down and stops. Electric problems or so.So ok they can send a towing car and they give you a taxi to the airport.. Hello, i am 100 km away and that cost me 2-3 hours maybe more at least... I am renting the car i am the client. I have apotintments which i cannot follow... Never goldcar again!!
