  Don't book half board!! Lovely dual aspect room but stay ruined by just two choices on half board menu. One was vegetarian and one chicken. As we dont eat chicken we asked if we could go a la carte and pay the difference but were refused. We then asked if we could change to room only but this was also refused. Reluctantly we had the vegetarian which was a bowl of noodles with pre made sauce and in my case a slice of red pepper a slice of green pepper and half a cabbage leaf. The starter was prawn salad. The prawns were warm and flaccid and we did not dare eat them. Such a shame as the room and the position was great

  The lobby and dining room are very tasteful in terms of decor and comfort. However, the corridor to the room appeared tired and tatty. The room was basic and the bathroom could do with an upgrade although it was clean. The staff at the hotel in reception and also in the dining room (with the exception of the morning shift) were rude and arrogant. The half board choices were very limited and you would, in my opinion, be better paying an extra couple of euros to have the full choices on the menu, this option also leaves you free to eat elsewhere which may be the best choice as the food was not great! The location of this hotel was pretty good ie near the beach and bars and restaurants etc. Retrain the staff, give some parts of the hotel a face lift and it would be cracking.

  Nice hotel situated on the seafront, beautiful views if you book a sea view room. Avoid restaurant as service atrocious

  Chic boutique hotel with tasteful decor. Nice bar, beautiful dining room. Bedrooms are modern and spacious. WiFi is free. Outside seating, swimming pool and garden area for relaxing. The restaurant offers a good menu. Staff are friendly and helpful. Supermarket very near. The beach is just minutes away, it’s really beautiful. The tram station is near and very cheap and convenient for trips the city centre. There’s a lot of building work going on around the area. The workers have lots of tools in their tool bags but all of them seem to be hammers.
